This was my first time selling a property. I asked Christine Dato to be our agent. I have to say from day ONE everything was handled in a very professional and seemless manner. She made recommendations for an attorney of which only made the process that much smoother. I would have say whether you are going to buy or sell a property, I would highly recommend Christine.

My mother passed away just shy of her 93 Birthday, almost 2yrs ago now. My family were the first owners of the house we lived in, and it was one of the first houses on the block of a newly formed development on the mid south shore of Long Island, in the mid to late 1950's. We owned that house for 65 yrs. My parents were a son and daughter of immigrant parents and grandparents from Italy, originally living in New York City. My parents were able to obtain jobs on the ever-developing Long Island in the 1950's and eventually bought the house that was our home for 65 years. I explain this (briefly) because it was not just a house that Christine helped us to sell, but a legacy. Christine was referred to me by a relative. But my mother once said to me - "Don't sell this house for less than $_____,______, so I didn't just call her up to say, "Hey, you want to sell my house?" No - I went to a seminar that she had invited me to at the Coldwell office and "checked her out", based on how the seminar was conducted. It didn't take me long to observe what I thought should be important qualifications in hiring her as my realtor - professionalism, preparedness, and personal attention. Christine guided me through the whole process, constantly kept me apprised of the status of all of the events contributing to the process, and she was always truthful and realistic with me about everything. She made some suggestions regarding preparing the house for sale and a price that she thought would bring buyers in to make offers. Remember - My Mom had given me a goal required price for the house. I was a little apprehensive about some of the preparations as well as the asking price - but it all paid off because we received an over asking price offer and the amount was well over the amount required by my mother. It was difficult process and it was hard to let go of the home that was made by our parents (I have 3 siblings). But Christine held my hand the whole way through, and everything turned out ok. Thank You Christine!
